Do not go to this church...
They are not friendly and you have to have money to fit in, alot of clicks inside the church. I visited there and no one even said hello to me. So if you are looking for a church that cares don't waste your time going there. I left there with a very empty feeling, felt better before I went.

That church has hurt a lot of people.. People that was going there for years have been hurt by the pastor and church members and left....You have to have love for hurting people that's why people look for a church and a pastor that cares for people not hurt them....I have had some of my own family memebers that attend for a few years and left that church hurt....also last I checked they are having money problems and put it up for sale...but havent informed the memebers...I am not there judge but one day god will judge them for misleading people....people that still go there need to really pray..the bible says in the last days they will appear in sheeps clothing and decive many ?????

I've been a member for many many years at TLC and I'm not sure what you folks are talking about. I'm sorry if someone has had a bad experience while there, we do our best to make people feel welcome and loved. We also do many outreach events for our community and have opened our doors to help the hungry and people in need and given away thousands of dollars worth of items to help people at Christmas as well as many other events. I can personally assure you that the Pastors there are not money hungry and some of the most giving people I've ever known. Most all churches are being hit financially, but God continues to provide our needs and our members know everything that is going on.
So please don't get on here and talk about things you obviously have no knowledge of to begin with. The Pastor at TLC is a Godly, honest man of integrity with a great vision for this city, to reach people for Jesus.

I have personally stepped foot in the building ..my children and I were ignored like we were nothing ....i sat in the lobby,, my children and I actually got up and left before the service began...i let a friend that had never been talk me into going with them...the pastor needs a servant ..what he can't get his own water and a young man handing him white towels ...and screaming wave your envelope in the air if you have a friend in jesus...you don't need money to have a friend in Jesus....they were fighting in front of my children over a brownie...this is not to bash nor judge...who am I to judge only the father in heaven is to judge...this post is hopefully to open the eyes...and also it says in the Bible when you do good deeds do them in secret...and yes if this is the pastor full time job,, he needs to visit the sick and do home.visits and call people...i have a question with this fish fry.thing you guys have can hungry people come in and eat without paying a fee...or if a family wants to have a family night but doesn't have the means to do so can they come in without a fee...

I pray for the young people and there familys that are going through this painful time right now this will change there lives forever...But GOD will bring you through it just HOLD on to his promises and keep the FAITH.... I went to TLC with a family member last year. It was a terrible experience that I will not repeat. The pastor (once he stood up from his 'throne' with his servant kneeling beside him) degraded every other religion, continously asked for money (yeah the 'wave your envelopes'), and the "service" was a joke. I did notice his wife (co-pastor) playing with what I guess was her iphone the entire time, she didn't look up once and looked so very bored (almost more so than myself). I left feeling that I wasted a perfectly fine morning listening to a rude man complain to a group of rude people (no one beside the family I went with spoke to us at all). I also agree with previous posters, the pastor should check in on the sick members of their congregation, but I know for a fact that is something rare for them. Basically the place is a joke and it's sad because in it's past incarnation as Trinity Assembly of God it was a good church, now not so much.
As for the sexual abuse now making news, I have no doubt that it will be down played by the church. Just feel sorry for the kids and parents enrolled in their daycare, hope they find alternatives easily.

I have talked to a lot of people and they say about the same thing. The pastor is very rude and so are most of the members.

I've got to be fair bro'.I've visited "several" denominations of churches in my day.Been a dedicated member of three,,,dedicated as I could be anyway. And honestly,,,I've found what you're describing in every building that I've ever attended congregation in.The whole trick about church though,is to ignore those clicks,,,and don't seek compassion.Focus on the message and learn to structure a stronger and more stable "you" based on "your" faith alone. You can waste time trying to find a group that's more suitable to your imperfections if you want,,,but I think that you'll find the only thing different about different churches will be the music. And though no white-churches has cool church music like the African Americans do,,,the Mormons are the absolute worst. However, the people are all the same. They just happen to be a bit more pleasant company when you enjoy singing with 'em.Anyway, the magic of faith is in you,,,no matter where you decide to brush up on it.And no,,,none of the denominations will agree with that.Good luck anyway dude.

I knew a while back that this was not a place I wanted to go when they used to have an iranian flag flying. They had others also, it looked like the united nations over there with all the flags, but especially the flag of iran. They don't have them now but they did.
