Don't forget about the free film series Topia Arts is offering this summer on Sundays into September if you are looking for Adams activities for the family.

Redneck Roadshow at it's best. With Hassan as the ringleader! Nice. Isn't he from Pittsfield? I thought it stunk just like everything else that generates in a barroom with drunks to make up the quorum! Way to go Summer Street Association of Merchants; I just wish it were Summer Hill instead of Street; then you can wear bright yellow beacons that say SHAM Staff on them instead.

Did you fall off the grumpy tree and hit every branch on the way down? I thought it was nice enough.

Have to agree. This association is a joke. They have no clue how to have a street fair. If the "fat man" knew enough to keep his mouth shut long enough to listen to others and not say everything was his idea, they would be better off. Has anyone ever checked in to this fair to find out who is really benefits from it...what have they done for "Summer street" oh my bad they gave it a party. WHER DOES THE MONEY GO!!! Did the new signs showing what's on summer street blow away? SSAM= Same Stupid Arrogant Members.

Promote the businesses on Summer Street, Don't mask the store fronts with other peoples stuff from other streets. Has anyone felt a benefit from the street fair, do any of the people that bought "mike's" french fries feel like buying anything from the stores on the street??? I bet NOT!!!

Actually I like hijinx and already knew when it was. Thanks anyway. I like respectable people and associations; not backstabbers, gossips, and liars. Try attending a SHAM mtg. weds. nights at The Grille.

you have more crap to say on these forums then most. Just because a few people who obviously have a clue as to what the real deal is, don't put your 2 cents in.

As for hijinks, they are able to have that on the towns "special events" money that doesn't have room for one more street fair. Ask the woman that runs that department of the town hall and she will tell you that it's not a park street fair it's a Adams fair paid for with that money that can only be used on park street.

All of these events SUCK!!!! sidewalk sales are a thing of the past, oh wait no there only legal if you do a street fair, the rest of the time keep all your sh*t in your store or your going to get fined or forced out of business.

People complain there's nothing to do in town, and then when there is something to do, people complain about it. That's all I'm saying. I am not a merchant and don't have a table at any of these so the only real deal I'm concerned with is just getting out for the event. I think they are nice enough, and apparently alot of other people do, too, judging by the attendance. If that's a load of crap then fine, don't go.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Aquarius

The more you want to control someone, or someone wants to control you, the more difficult life will be today. It's a Full Moon and a lunar eclipse, so the last thing you should do now is to act as though you own this person, or tell them what to do, because it will be an instant recipe for rebellion and trouble. Mars is retro in your house of significant others and open enemies after all. If you don't want to spoil the evening's celebrations you'll have to make compromises, and hope that this other person will do the same. Don't let the fuss stop you having a very happy New Year's Eve.
