Campaign finance funds, might as well wave that rib-eye under a hungry dogs nose. I still believe those on the board that handed him the money to be more corrupt than him. My question as to the names on that board has never been answered either. Looks like Ernie is being played as a sacrificial lamb for the real crooks, not that he's innocent, but conveinent.

Totally agree with you on this one! But even so, Ol' Ernie should have been a little more circumspect (not that the word is even in his vocabulary!). He must have known he was going to be watched like a hawk. Either that or he didn't care.

Too bad, how sad for him!

The actual crime ($ 500 of fraudulent money) is small stuff in a campaign. He almost certainly percieved it as just cutting corners. He just might do jail time on this given his past record.... sad.

Sad? Hardly. He thinks rules do not apply to him.I would love to see an accounting of where that money he was given went.Does he even pretend to have a paying job?

I read an article today that said he was $ 500 short in campaign money to qualify as a candidate so he had his own workers contribute, and he falsified that. So he did lie, but that crime is pretty small in the scheme of things. They can't let it go however, due to his history. But look at Ayala- she lied about her residency and she's being allowed to move before she gets into office. Not even charged.

Cutting corners is a way of life in the ghetto, so you take a well-meaning person and they just can't stop cutting corners. So I think it's sad that his life has come to this. He really came from the bottom- and had a lot of promise, and he truly was liked by his colleagues in the capitol, on both sides of the aisle. I have seen him in person, and I agree he was very charismatic, and very earnest. But he spouted all the stupid stuff those on the left always spout.... He did not have the solutions. He will be gone now.

..........Maybe if you get off the bottom and stop looking up at these crooks you might see who and what they really are. Do you see yourself defending these crooks, because that's what's your posts say. Look at the other article, he got over $80,000.00.

Go back to the other thread, I responded to your paranoid psychosis there. He falsified $500 to get to $ 15,000 to qualify for $ 80k. There's a difference. I don't defend crooks, I merely pointed out that falsely reporting the source of $ 500 isn't the biggest crime ever. Please respond soon, I can't wait to hear what you're imagining next! Some silly connection to Newtown, no doubt. Why, his name 'Newton' is almost the same! Must be a secret connection!

...... To say you are trying to run damage control on the truth here would actually be a compliment, a lot of your stuff still says you are a welfare fraud in a one room with a hot plate. You must be jealous of these crooks. He got $80,550.00 stupid. That's what is gone from our tax coffer, at least those of us that pay taxes. That is the bottom line here, the $500.00 thing is the fraud, and the $80,550.00 thing is the theft.

You got me pegged, I admit it. Yes, in fact I am a welfare fraud and I'm just jealous of these crooks. I wish I could see reality as well as you. Can we get together? I really need some advice from someone I look up too.
