A forgotten name

A friend and I were having a debate and for the life if me I can't remember this guys last name. I am not "looking" him up or anything. I'm happily married. In the summer of 96 or 97 a guy by the name of Chad, 21 yrs old at the time, from Shelbyville, and 3 other friends was in Illinois for a wedding and asked my friend and I (16 and 17 at the time) for directions. He gave me his phone number and we kept in touch for about a year (friends only), I had completely forgot about it until she brought it up the other day. Now for the life of me, I can't remember. From what I remember he was tall, skinny, dark hair, lived with his mom (I believe to be divorced), 21 then, very knowledgeable about horses (may have even been involved with rodeos), had just gotten out of a serious relationship. He should be about 36-37 now. I know that probably describes most of the men in Tennessee but that's all I can remember
I don't want to contact him or anything. It is now just bugging me that i can't remember especially since we kept in contact. I guess i can finally admit I am getting old.
