I am henceforth never shopping at Walmart ever again. I encourage you to do the same.

Sure, its cheap, but at what cost to the rest of the world?

Walmart uses Sweatshop (slave) labour in China, Taiwan, Honduras, Mexico, Bangladesh, India
and many other countries. The workers are usually women, many times even children. They are beaten, forced to work 7 days a week and make everything from toys, clothes, and shoes to computer products.

90% of Walmart's products are made in sweatshops in China run by the local Chinese mafia and bogus subsidiary companies that Walmart uses to create cheap knock-offs of Levis and other brand-name products (Levis is currently suing Walmart for brand-name infringement). They beat, intimidate, kill and extort their workers, forcing them into what is effectively slave labour.

The average Walmart factory worker in China makes $3 US/day, works 7 days a week, is beaten/raped if they try not to work, and killed if they try to start an union.

Don't believe me? Watch the video, "Walmart: The High Costs of Low Prices".

You're delusional if you think only Walmart does this. We have nobody to blame for the exploitation of foreign workers and outsourcing of American jobs than ourselves. People think they're entitled to be able to afford things. They want all their fancy electronics and housewares but they don't want to pay their neighbor a livable wage to build these things for them...so companies move production overseas where they can pay people one or two USD per day.

That was the point of my post above, but many will miss the sarcasm! Some who miss it will be the ones that say the same or similar in all seriousness.
