Yes, the milk and cheese from Heartland are quite a novelty. The glass bottling is very cool and the cheese packaging is definitely more desirable than others for purchasing. However, I own a cafe & general store, & have experienced the most unpleasant, unprofessional service from them than that of any other vendor I have ever used. Take caution in supporting their business through wholesale representation. Upon buying my establishment in May of 2008, I maintained orders with them, never receiving any product lists, ordering procedure guides, nor any verbal requests of how to best accommodate their & my business needs. Then, 3 months into deliveries, I was hastily told I did not adhere to their needs. I have always paid my invoices and had only one experience returning milk, which was admittedly the fault of Heartland for placing #'s in the wrong fields by their phone attendant. I was told I had 2 weeks of delivery ahead to make arrangements with new vendors or to get my orders up to a minimum. I placed my next order as they had requested. It was never delivered! I was told, upon calling about this matter, they decided not to service my store any longer. For any of you small business owners looking to support your local vendors and to accommodate your customers, you will understand how much this action truly affects the daily operation of your company.

I agree with you steve...these small business owners always hiking their prices up trying to make a fast buck off the working man. Then crying foul whenever someone else comes along with a better price. Makes me want to puke.

Steve you have some nerve putting her down like that then asking her out on a date. You are such an ass. And to you Kristen you don't need those idots from Heartland Creamery. He shouldn't be worrying about a minimum order the owner is filthy rich.

Hmmm...you sound like another small business trying to make a buck off the people who try to support you. In case you didn't notice, I was never informed of a minimum before the incident...just trying to start my business. Once told one existed, I placed an order to meet it! My comlaint is valid. The way you talk and your hastiness to judge sounds like you have never owned a restaurant nor do you understand the manner in which vendor relations work.

This guy is a creep. Has anyone checked his comments posted elsewhere to confirm that, no matter what the issue, he is just looking to find a high horse, abusing everyone in his path. It's been a lot of fun using you as a temporary sociological study, but you are entertaining only long enough to realize what a parasite you are on the community. Hey, why don't you tell us all what business you own, so we can come and support such a stellar and well run establishment!
