As for "No Excuse" i see why you have nothing else to write because you know nothing about our family or you would know the dedication that has been put into finding her. I guess it sure didnt cross your mind to even ask if someone watched her because they did. When you are left with little traces then its harder to find someone. I hope everyone continues to pray for her. Thank you.

I just wanted to resond to "No Excuse". I have been friends with this family for most of my life. I spent many nights at Mawma's house and went to many family functions where she was in attendance. She was loved by so many and her family was wonderful to her. You should not judge situations you do not know. This is about a lovely woman who is missing, not your feelings for the family. You should be ashamed of yourself and I only hope you are never in the a situation like this and judged unfairly. I think about her all of the time and everytime I'm around her family it breaks my heart. She was a wonderful woman and her family deserves your sympathy and kindness, not stupid judgements from ignorant people.

This comment is a response to "No Excuse" in Fisherville, Kentucky. First of all, you are in no position to assume that this family is made of money, nor does the financial well-being of this particular family have any bearing on the tragedy at hand. Your declaration is both insensitive and ignorant, and you should be ashamed of the statements you made in your "No Excuse" post. The fact of the matter is that Mrs. Ethington was loved and well taken care of by her family and friends, and all we want to see is some closure to this extended nightmare. Find it in your heart to change your attitude about this situation and remember the golden rule: Treat others as you would want to be treated in a similar situation.

Good Day!!!

One would think with Shelbyville being the size it is, that she could not have gone far. I am still amazed at the fact that no one even came forward and said they at least seen the car she drove.

I thought I seen her,...right before the family even posted pictures. When I saw the pictures,..it haunted me day in and day out..but according to the papers, the person I saw could not have been her.

I still look, in my eyes, though I know it is months later, till she is found, one way or another, right now, the words "She WAS" should not be used,..for till it is known, "She IS" is more appropriate.

I know it is a long stretch,..but do not give up that hope.

It is months later, and people (WE) can sit and go back and forth and play the blame game, or the guessing game, in the end, none of it matters, ALL that does matter is she is found.

The search process should be expanded to include private and volunteer sources. There are certain ares that should be checked that have been ignored in the past. Everyone attention and support to this matter is greatly appreciated. The whole family wants Mawma home. We need closure. We miss Mawma greatly!!!

In response to my previous statement, Everyone needs to try to band together and work as one unit. We need to cooperate with one another to resolve this situation. There are some misconceptions regarding the family. This has worked tirelessly since this tragedy has occured and everyones help, prayers and assistance has been greatly appreciated.
