Many verses can be interpreted to condemn a wide range of people. And yet that same bible and all other religious and non religious ethical belief systems, stress the Golden Rule above all others.<quoted text>

Christian - a religious person who believes Jesus is the Christ and who is a member of a Christian denomination

That you treat others as you would yourself under the law is also a requirement of our Constitution. Yet, you find interpretations that allow you to contradict it.
Matthew 7:12,: So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
Galatians 5:14: The entire law is summed up in a single command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
