Why don't we as a country legalize marijuana....Look how it helps California, Canada, Amsterdam....Is it not sad that California makes more money annually than any of its adjoining states....They legalize pot, which then brings in SUPPLY/DEMAND...Pot is not dangerous, drinking, ans smoking cigarettes is dangerous..... Its a plant for God's Sake....I could see if it actually did any damage to society but how has it?...Heroine, cocaine, meth, crack, pills, are DRUGS....Prescription medication, a DRUG...because in order to get the DRUG it has to be tampered with by man, Cannabis is a PLANT, its been around for thousands if not millions of years, the United States is going down hill and we need a way to boost the economy and get more jobs out there, so why not legalize pot, set up a Medical Marijuana Program in each state, which would of course need employees, so that would bring in thousands upon thousands of jobs, not counting if along with the Med. Marijuana, how many "Coffee Shops" would be set up in accordance...Its time to stop spending our tax payer money on fighting marijuana, when we could use it to help ourselves for a greater good....I find nothing wrong with smoking pot...i think that if you want to fight a war on drugs fight it on the Rx Meds, they are more dangerous than anything now....How great of a country are we that we make a plant illegal. but we sell synthetic coke to kids that are hyper....sell an FDA approved form of opium......The only reason they made pot illegal is because they had no way to tax it....but now, mankind is a lot more intelligent than we were 70 some years ago

what hypocrisy ... congress makes things that are a crime legal ... and things that are not a crime illegal.
No one has ever died from smoking pot. The elite don't want the people to have it because it might promote free thinking in some and they simply can't have that.

The need to keep Americans as stupid as an uninformed as possible ... hence corporate news.

Smoking pot is not a crime ... torturing ... invading countries illegally ... committing false flag attacks (911) murdering innocent civilians are ... but you won't see any elites being punish for it ... just us commoners for smoking or possessing pot ... what hypocrisy ...

Why dont they leave the pot alone. There are much worse things going on than somebody smuggling a little pot.Go after these thugs that are killing, robbing and raping. This is rediculous. What about the cocaine, herion, etc that is actually killing people.

I agree. At my age, I know a lot of pot smokers. Some smoke every single day, some smoke occasionally and socially. I also know a lot of drinkers and I would always rather be with a pothead than a drunk.

It keeps people happy, in a sad world we live in.
Munchies keep you eating which helps the economy. Removes stress, that alone will help health care.
That it us "the sandwich generation" we are dropping like flies because .....stress with parents and stress of children and grandchildren.
Will the day come when our children will help their grandparents because we are dead.

You might be right about the 3 generations. I'm thinking it has had a comeback with the baby boomers.

I'm thinking that the driver is just a patsy. As driver he more then likely had no idea the pot was in the middle of a pallet of produce. Most of the time drivers aren't any where near the trailes when they're loaded. They only way they know what they're hauling is by the bill of lading.

What were the people who called the cops thinking? I say legalize it! We've all been waiting years. It's only hurting us more because it's not legal! That truck driver is more then likely a very nice family man. People who smoke pot are not evil or bad people. They just know what Makes them feel good!

Seriously-how many times have you heard of someone lighting up and going out and killing, or raping, or robbing anyone? It doesn't happen because it's a substance like alcohol-a depressant. We allow alcohol to be government controlled and taxed to benefit our society, why not pot? Even the conservatives are drinkers because it's legal. Legal or not it will not go away. Our government needs to think more progressively to bridge the financial shortfalls we have. Living in Cleveland and seeing what happened on Imperial Avenue, as shocking as that was, those involved were using much harder drugs-crack and cocaine. That is what happens as a result of those drugs. Not marijuana!!!

Well Think About It-I guess that means we have to go back to prohibition, lose that very costly tax revenue and put ourselves at a further loss. After that we will need to go after the pharm companies, shut them down and put thousands of more people out of work. Yes, I think people should worry about their children. They can start by being parents again , like mine were. They can not give them a cell phone at age 8, monitor what they watch on tv and what they do on the web. They can spend time with them, take them places and get them involved in activities. But the average parent can't do that, because they have to work night and day to pay for the three new cars(one for their child) and there big house in the burbs that they were loaned too much money for by a failed bank. In the big picture-people smoking pot is tiddlywinks! Go back to your vodka IDIOT! Maybe you just need a big fat doobie!
