Peter Garritano thinks it's time for Vermont to call it quits with America. The way the 54-year-old automobile salesman sees it, the "empire" is about to implode and tiny Vermont can lead the way by becoming its own independent republic.

Let's leave the United States, declare war, lose and then let them send us aid like they did for Japan, how can we lose.

Vermont will look like a third world country because it has no economy to support the 2nd oldest population in the country and it's large welfare population.
