State bottle law changes sought

Nearly four decades ago Vermont passed a law requiring deposits for bottles to clean up littered roadsides and trashed waterways.

Really?!? This is what our state government has been debating... A change to the bottle law? Well thank goodness there aren't more pressing issues on the table.

its a hidden tax and nothing more...
they know you pay 5 cents per container and then drop em in the recycling center at the dump...
this law was before there was a separate collection at the dump...

to me, this is just a new tax/welfare idea...
