Sullivan lost its moral compass years ago so don't come on here pretending that you're the last bastion of Sullivan morality.
Whether you believe it or not homosexuality is normal and humans aren't the only species to display it.
Get over yourselves and let these kids have a good time at the prom.
The WHOLE Country has lost it's moral compass, don't be ragging on people who still believe in right and wrong. I will not support unnatural behavior and don't believe for a second that it's normal, Expat. I will not be quiet about this travesty.

I just want you all to know that if the school does say the gays are not allowed at the prom. The school will get sued for a hate crime. Saying gays shouldnt be allowed is like say blacks cant go. This isn't 1913 so get over it. Also I belive the bible says god made man in his own image correct? Well these people who are gay that means god made them that way right? Since it does say that in the bible. I dont support homosexuality but I dont belive they should be cast out for it. It's not a disease.

In reality, I don't believe this has anything at all to do with religion. I personally don't think it is a big deal for anyone to take whoever they want to a dance, nor is it my business. I really think that if someone wants to dance with someone of the same sex, well, that's just how they are and banning them from a dance won't change that and how big of a deal is it in the grand scheme of things?....HOWEVER, the way people are blaming others for not wanting this isn't really fair either. I truly believe the ones that don't agree are against it because it makes them uncomfortable, not necessarily because they over judging and that is something they really can't help. I am VERY supportive of same sex relationships, but I didn't always feel that way because it used to make me uncomfortable. There HAS to be some sort of compromise here.
thank the good lord someone actully has a brain on here.

Before you criticize, or try to insult, know the subject for which you are trying to criticize/insult. Your ignorance of the Bible and Christianity shows. False ideas and false information causes many of the problems in the world today. I'm sorry if you are offended, but please take my advice. Thanks

So you are telling me that a direct scrip from the bible is false? I mean it says it in Genesis right after the lord made adam. And before eve was even thought of. I mean you pretty much said god's wrong so tell me again how great of a Christian you are?

If you had kept reading in Genesis, you would have learned that God gave man free will (in his own image). Eve and Adam later ate from the tree of knowledge and gained the knowledge of right and wrong, Man's original sin. So, no, a direct script from the Bible is not wrong. As a Christian, I know that I am far from perfect!! I make mistakes and sin!! I fall short in living my life as GOD had intended every day!! For that reason GOD sent HIS SON, to provide a path back to HIM. Through JESUS man can find his way back to GOD!! Now, I can admit I am not an expert, but I do know that much!

And since Jesus died for are sins you shouldnt be looking down on gays since Jesus died for them to.

sin is sin! homosexuality is a sin just like adultry, lust, greed, gluttony and on and on! You have to be very careful when you pick one sin and run with it! Our school board is a joke anyway but if they dont allow they probably would be sued alcoholism could be considered a sin if that was the case we would have hardly any school or city admisistration left thanks and god bless america theres gay people that work at walmart but we all still shop there thank u

Well had no idea that religion affects secular society. Learn something new every day. Maybe next we should try to pull an Arizona and prevent nonChristians from graduating. We are the Theocratic States of Murrica after all. Why does religion get thrown everywhere I have no belief and so your beliefs don't affect me. Am I mistaken?
