Fellow Christians- we have had our say. This is way out of hand. Need to stop! Your adding fuel to the fire. It is obvious many ppls views are not going to change. When one has been told the truth but turns a deaf ear wipe the dust from your feet and move on. Fellowship with those who are open. This mess is putting a horrible name on "Christians". Please stop. As far as the prom I am so over it this year. If I was the kids I probably would be over it also. This was to be a fun event. So much for that. If kids want to go ...then go...if not....don't...adults....grow up...

Just like they did before integration of races. How embarrassing.

Huge difference. It doesn't matter the race of people as they are all people. Allowing perversions to infiltrate is asking for trouble. 1Cor. 15:33, "Do not be mislead, bad associations spoil useful habits"

Bad associations have nothing to do with race and everything to do with the perversions some people accept as normal behavior. Grow up.

No it wasn't and if it were tried its because they knew they were dealing with people too ignorant to think for themselves. I'll bet some of those people were your parents.

Why were Southern states forced by the court to allow interracial marriage? What was the thinking of the white man back then?

What exactly is your point? Interracial marriage has nothing in common to being or endorsing gays. Whether the same race or not, a male and female are just that, male and female. They have absolutely nothing in common with being gay. If you think they are connected in some way you are showing your ignorance. The ridicules laws against interracial marriage were ignorance and bigotry on the part of men during those times. The fact that two men or two women being inflamed in their desires for someone of the same sex has nothing to do with marriage between a man and woman whether they are of the same race or not. One is abnormal, perverse and sick and the other is natural under the eyes of God. Get a clue.

For the longest time,
unquestionable religious traditions
and conventions supported Anti-Amalgamation laws criminalizing
interracial marriages. According to
the religious doctrine underlying
these prohibitions, marriages
between whites and races of color
were against God's natural order
and were immoral. To these same
religious fundamentalists, abolition
and women's suffrage were attacks
on God's natural order. Violence
usuallty followed when religious
radicals' values were threatened.

By 1970, twelve states, mostly Bible
Belt states, still had these
unenforceable miscenegation laws
on their books. They were very
stubborn and fundmentalist. The
last one to be removed wasnt
removed until November of 2000 in
Alabama. Strange indeed was it
was done by ballot referendum. And
40% of Alabamans still voted
against taking the laws off the
books.

Jim Crowe laws have absolutely NOTHING to do with this anna, and your boorish constant Biblical preaching is even redundant to those of us who are spiritual. The likes of some religions around this area are not Christian, even though you claim to be. Extremism in religion is not helping your cause nor theirs; it is just plain ignorance.

Reading all of this shows the lack of education the Teachers Union and State provide in this area, as well as the parents initiative to change it. It does not surprise me the kids are growing up on TV. Good grief.

There should be outrage at this, Homosexuality isn't normal and the kids who aren't Homosexuals shouldn't have it flaunted in their face at a School event.
The SE School corp should be ashamed of themselves for letting this happen. Very ashamed.

So I suppose you think God made pedophiles and rapists as well? Just because some freaks have a proclivity for perverse acts doesn't mean God made them that way.. Everyone has free will to either do or not do what is right. I suppose you think God created serial killers as well? What a putz!

Why do ignorant white folks want to always compare homosexual to being black. You think we like them. I think I will start comparing these idiots to beastiality. Here's a clue the white people on here that don't agree with homosexual are right. So stop comparing us to them you other idiots. They are perverted oxygen thieves. I do believe they should be in the military though. They should be on the front lines in a neon pink uniform just long enough for the.com ander to yell charge. At least in death there could be some small amount of pride for there short service. That's what we think of them to the stupid whites on here. We would disown them for being a disgrace to our family.

I do agree that we all have free will! Serial killers and pedophiles choose to do what they do! I believe it's ignorant of you to compare gay people to serial killers and pedophiles .Gay people are born gay just like straight people r born straight. I have many gay friends who r in loving committed relationships! The state that I live in has same sex marriage.Btw.. I'm a Christian and I believe Jesus loves us all! Gay, Straight, Black , White and yes even haters like u! Have a lovely day and god bless u!:-)

I couldn't care less what your state allows or how much they promote perverse lifestyles. Also, you obviously know nothing of he bible or what Jesus thinks of those who "practice" wrongdoing. Jesus himself said marriage was between a man and woman ONLY. The scriptures also say that for those who practice sin willfully after knowing the truth, there is no forgiveness of sins left. Seems you are of of those Christians in name only without the slightest idea what the word of your God, the bible says. But what does it matter to those like you? Nothing, you think because some men in this corrupt world allow something detestable, then it ok. That way you can feel good about yourself. Guess what? The bible doesn't change with political administrations. It stays the same regardless what corrupt political hacks allow to maintain their power over you. Grow up. Don't claimed to be a Christian when you know nothing of the bible and couldn't care less what God thinks.

The bible has many quotes that are not practiced ! People select what the want to believe. I am certain that not one single person in this forum has lived there life word for word! The message is to believe In the holy trinity and ask for forgiveness of sins ! Non of us can judge or preach. I have seen sin right here on this forum ! Cast your stone in your glass house !!!
