My, what a joy it must be to even know this guy! Seems all he knows is violence, revenge, and general nastiness. I can't imagine a woman spending any time with him, knowing what a crumb he's been in the past.

Sounds like a nice guy I'm sure these people are all lying and the police are just picking in him.

You shouldn't jump to conclusions. What the paper is reporting is sensationalism. Unfortunately they fail to print the true facts. He is a good hearted, god fearing, bible studying man who has a problem with alcohol. He is seeking help with this and I continue to give him moral support. I've forgiven him for the mistake that he made, and am continuing to help him turn his life around. And for your information, I'm a church going, bible studying Christian woman, with a Master's degree and an unfinished PhD.

How nice for you. You have all this education, yet cannot see that you are allowing a man to physically abuse you because of his own problems. That is well beyond "moral support." Even worse, you allow your children to learn how this is done with complete impugnity on the part of the abuser. Please see a professional to help you see where some of the wrong turns have been made, and to see your part in that. BTW, God fearing, Bible studying men do not beat up on their wives. It's that "cherish" part that needs attention.

Actualy it seems wife beating and child molestation are the norm with "god fearing" bible types. I guess when you really believe you'll be forgiven anything is game.

Is that a fact or just your opinion? There is a saying that people tend to wear"masks" Which means they are a different person around certain people or places and only show you what they want you to see or know about them. For instance a man you work with could be the nicest person in the whole world yet be a very abusive husband and father at home. And I don't think whether your religious or as you say"bible reader and God fearing" defines whether you beat your wife or not. Ive known plenty of devoted church goers that aren't the nicest people Ive ever met.And if you really want to get into it some of the people who are supposed to be the closest to god are nothing more than dirty old pedophiles.
I don't agree with hitting your spouse whether its your wife or husband. But she sees something worth sticking around for and if she doesn't feel threatened or in imminent danger who the he11 are you to judge or tell her otherwise?
