A plan to build a new Highway Department garage may be up for vote next year, as residents on Monday night approved $150,000 to prepare bid documents for such a facility.
The article funding the bid documents, which passed by a substantial majority, would be used after the town exhausts the $50,000 approved at last year's meeting for a feasibility study.
Am I reading this right??? It cost 50 grand for a feasibility study and then another 150 grand to prepare the bids to build a freaking garage?????
No wonder the thing will cost 2 million. It must be one H e l l of of a garage.
And people wonder why the towns have no money. Give a call to Obummer. Maybe he will have the federal government send them an IOU for the project.
