So it sounds like he should be charged with re-entry after removal - even if he self-removed..... which is a criminal offense. This man CLEARLY has no regard whatsoever for our laws. He entered illegally. He blew off his deportation hearing even though the law required him to show up. It appears he tried to enter illegally again in 2003 even though he was in all likelihood a final order of removal from the 1996 hearing. Nonetheless he got in again - clearly in violation of the law - again. And now we should feel sorry for he, his wife and his family that he probably would not have had here in the US had he followed all the laws he broke??? And if his employer were TRULY unaware of the situation - that means this guy lied to his employer too - repeatedly for 16 years. If this guy is not a liar - that means the employer is lying to the reporter and was complicit in the hiring of illegal aliens and should be charged criminally as well and the company as well as the boss should be investigated by both ICE and the Department of Labor for unlawful hiring practices. Not an ounce of sympathy here. Deport him.

After reading the story, it blew my mind. How did this guy get away with this deception for 16 years?
These do-gooders who are rallying to help him evidently don't believe in obeying laws.

And the government agencies are certainly not doing their jobs.

Now he is hiding behind his lack of the English language (per his attorney) for his missing a court date??? I say in 16 years he should be able to speak and understand English.

He can't speak English, because he and so many other illegals REFUSE to learn our language.
