How did an 8 year old get a hold of bleach without a parent or an adult noticing that he took it? Wasn't he being supervised by an adult at all? This kind of thing won't have happened at all if he had someone watching him instead of leaving him to his own demise. I wonder if something might have happened prior to the bleach incident to set this kid off, like being bullied by the older kids.

calm down Hannah. A 8 year doesnt need constant supervision in the house. What if mom/dad went to the bathroom/wanted to shower. There are many reasons that a parent was not in the same room as him. If you have kids, do you keep them in a bubble???
