This is out of hand i work as a caregiver and the people i care for depend on me for everything. I had to go through background checks and things. I fear for those two people who knows whats going on. I pray something will happen the county hopefully will close him down before something bad happens.

Again, it is ignorant to judge one person because of another's wrongdoings. Not all offenders are the same and therefore should not be treated the same. If a person wearing a black shirt steals your purse, do you hate all people wearing black shirts? If a man named Bob drives drunk, does that mean everyone named Bob is a drunk driver? If you get overcharged at Kroger, do you stop shopping at all Krogers?:) Come on...
IMO being overcharged at Kroger is a little different than having someone run their hands all over you, down your pants and take your innocence. I do not think that all sexual offenders are the same but they do share one common ground. IMO they have lost their right to be trusted by anyone simply by crossing the line and violating someone else. They have lost the right to just be defended when they abuse the defenseless. I think your other examples of the drunk driver or the theif have the same problem...they have lost their right to be trusted and IMO they hold no value to society. Sorry but I have been a victim of the sexual predator and a theif who indeed stole my purse at the mall. In turn I do not trust anyone who gets in my space uninvited and I protect myself by always being aware of who is around me. Some people are evil and some people are not but it is hard to tell on the surface who is what because many are great actors/actresses. I think this guy running this group home is a tragedy waiting to happen I just hope I am wrong.

I could not agree with you more!

OK, I'm failing to follow the logic of most of you. Yes, it is a horrible crime to sexually molest a child. He was caught and served his time. Now, he has found a job so that the State does not have to pay him to do nothing.
What is he supposed to do? He is not working with children. Is there some type of study that shows a child molester is going to move on to invalid adults?
Further, it was disclosed to the families of those for whom he is providing care. Rightly or wrongly, they've accepted the risk of placing their family in this person's care. This is no longer the State's business.
So, until the laws are changed to declare that child molester is to be jailed for life, the person has a right to be employed. What is he to do?

He could work on a farm, in a gas station, a retail store etc. He should not be in a position where he could potentially exploit someone disabled and unable to speak for themselves in a credible manner.

You wait and see he will strike again one day and this time it will be a victim who will be unable to speak for him/herself or out of sheer terror of being " hurt by the bad man again".

The state ought to be brought up on endangerment charges for this boneheaded move. Every family member that has a relative in the facility should demand he be removed or face losing residents to another facility one more responsible.

The town I live in just had a man who was convicted of molestation given the chance by the courts to live in a trailer park filled with kids, though he had not disobeyed his probation for 10 or so years and hurt another child, less than a week after having his probation extended by the judge for a prior residential arrangement that turned out to be too close to a forbidden area for him,he struck again and killed an innocent little boy.

He did not work alone this time, his father assisted in the molestation and the mother got her own personal pleasure in watching as well. They all 3 are jailed and up on murder charges along with a family friend who helped dump the body.

Let this be a lesson in someone not being able to be rehabbed. An innocent little boy is dead, at the hands of molesters that the courts failed to stop.

For those who want info on that case google the name Christopher Barrios, brunswick GA. What these people did to that poor little boy is beyond sick, and it took them killing an innocent child for the courts to finally stop them.

NO..not once a sex offender, always a sex offender! People can be rehabilitated.
Yeah well tell that to Jessica Lundsford and Christopher Barrios. Both cases the offender offended again and this time killed.

To know someone is a sex offender and allow that person to continue to work in a group home setting is BEYOND irresponsible. Just what are these people thinking? He will offend again one day as all of them eventually do and this time he may kill an innocent person. Can they live with that?
