You are right! People can't let this die down. National media outlets need to be contacted and everything. We don't need additional drama or violence in the town. We can handle this professionally.
And you think calling in national media would cause LESS drama??? Then everyone wanting his/her 15 minutes of fame would be sticking their neck out for an interview and make Bowling Green look about as professional as honey boo boo.

God forbid had Bradshaw been a black man. The riots would still be happening all over town. BG indeed has a lot of racist people and many happen to be black.

We're only 4 days into the investigation and you want to call the national media. For WHAT?

If Tommy brown had shot a woman, he would be in jail, if he had shot a black considering how racist warren county is, he probably would have gotten a parade.
Brandon is in the middle, he's not on the top ladder like Rand Pauls kids, yet he has the backing of a lot of top citizens due to his connections at Skypac and a former constable. The people at the rally weren't the top tier rich. Had old Mike Buchanon, Rick McCue, Rick Dubois, or Romanza Johnson been out there protesting, Brown would probably be arrested.
LOL I can't believe people like you throw that race card around.

Using the race card on something that has absolutely nothing to do with race just shows your stupidit.

If you want to handle it professionally, then wait for the investigation report. IF Tommy Brown is guilty of a crime, JUSTICE goes like this:

1) Incident
2) Investigation
3) Charges brought
4) Arrest Made
5) Trial by jury
6) Sentencing
7) Punishment

This is the justice system in the USA. Skipping steps 2-6 as some of you advocate is not justice. Not for Brown. Not for Bradshaw. Not for society.

You must really think we are stupid. You know as well as I do it will be justified no matter. Go tell this crap to someone else,we all know what the good ole boy system is about.

I don't think you are stupid. I think you are emotional and cynical. Maybe with good reason. But going from incident to hanging somebody is wrong as well. Give the system a chance.

Lol you have a point. I'm just saying some national media would help the situation. Any time anybody is shot they take the shooter to jail. They have time to gather more evidence. Nobody understand what is going on.

You can't hold someone indefinitely while investigating. You must either bring charges or release them within 48 hours. Some states it's 72 hours but I think Kentucky is 48.

Yes, they could have took him to jail. Unless he was charged with something, he'd be out by now. They could still file charges later on.

The situation is so unfortunate on both parts! I personally know Tommy Brown, he is a good man, but I do know good men do stuff that is bad too. Nobody on here was there, or in either mans shoes! Everyone is ready to hang Tommy Brown and not knowing all facts. With me knowing Tommy and it was a reckless act, then by all means he needs to be punished. But I want ALL the FACTS! NOT HEAR SAY OR WHAT PEOPLE THINK MIGHT HAVE HAPPENED! I hear that Mr. Bradshaw was a good man too, and my heart breaks for his family but people wake up, let KSP do their job! Quit being a lynch mob....wait until all the facts come out, then let the court system do their job! We should all think about what Mr. Bradshaw's father says, we need to pray, he is praying for Tommy and it seems like if he can, then y'all should too! Learn from his example!

Very well put. I love it when people get thier police knowledge from the latest episode of whatever TV show they watch. This is real. Don't expect things to wraped up in an hour.

I'm beginning to see that Brandon Bradshaw wasnt good enough in terms of the big shots. Let's look at Brandon on paper, he was a little obese, he had tattoos, he wasnt in a top inner circle, although he had the Skypac connection. The family is not rich by any means, and the people at the rally were a lot of thug type people, you didn't see any top tier bowling green citizens there like Romanza Johnson, Joe Denning, Cartherine Hamilton, etc.

If someone like Bill Leachmans or Mike Buchanons son or someone of importance had been murdered by Tommy Brown, you bet Brown would be in jail. I see now after a week that favoritism is playing a huge part in this. Brandon is not viewed as good enough, that's why Tommy Brown is being hailed a hero.

Remember in 2006 after Corneilus Martin was killed by a drunk driver, how the rich came out and stood by the family, they had that woman in jail the minute the crash happened even though a jury later acquited her. Mark My Words if it had been someone of importance that had been murdered Tommy Brown would be in jail.

i always thought when you shot someone that you would be arrested. dont understand this. the guy just goes home like nothing happened, and i guess they tell the shooter, we'll call you if we need you.

First of all everyone who shoots someone is not put right in jail. The is a case that will require investigation and review by the Grand Jury. Tommy Brown did not murder anyone. Not yet anyway. Rich people who killed poor people have been put in jail, Tommy Brown family not rich or well connected.
Why did Brandon do the things he did that day?

Why would you be arrested, if evidence at the scene indicated that the shooting was justified? It is a tragedy that this man is dead, but do you think that it has anything to do with the fact that he chased these people down, and boxed them into a parking lot?
really

I've seen the crime scene pictures and Mr brown was not boxed into a parking lot. He could have left. He choose not to. He choose to get out of his vehicle with a loaded weapon and approach an angry hothead. While no one in bowling green seems to care, he will have to meet his maker one day.
