Why do they always get in the road when they see a car coming? They act like they have the right a way. I even hear the little smart ass remarks the mumble when you drive by.Its needs to be dealt with before they get ran over by a drunk driver !!

I understand. But people dont need to drive like a bat out of hell on main street. What else do they have to do in town. Stop talking about them they are good boys.

I am not a parent of one of these kids,i am a parent though and children get so bored so easily in this area ,I am just saying if there were things for these children to do then maybe they would stay out of the street ,believe me i have almost hit a few too,but the point is if you want them out of the streets and parking lots take a few dollars and fix them a place to play,I am sure me or any other parent would build them a few ramps for the park just to keep them off the streets that way it wouldnt cost the city a dime, put up signs saying skate at your own risk also make the parent sign a petition stating they can not sue if there child gets hurt playing there ,im sure they would be more than glad to do that,the main concern should be the drugs in town .P.S. kids if you want to get somewhere with getting some help with the park idea or anything else respect is the first step,because you do smart off at times.I know i have heard it, but no one will listen to you or consider anything to help you if your rude and disrespectful.GOOD LUCK

I want to express my appreciation to the lady at the Mexican store in Sharpsburg. Did you know she feeds that bunch of skateboarding boys every day and they all eat whether they have any money or not. That shows what a caring person she is and what a love she has for children. I always try to send money so not take advantage of her generosity. If others in Sharpsburg were as selfless, it may be a nice place to raise children again.
