What would residents like to see open.

I moved back here after living here when i was 8yrs. old. I have been knocking the idea of opening a new store or pool room again. Public opinion is appreciated.

i would like to see a grocery store. I know there is already one but i think it would help the town if another one opened. it would give people a varitey and give the other store in town some competition.

Ok seriously a nice pizza place that serves pizza wings and some pasta dishes.
Even a gameroom would be nice too give the kids something to do around here. or how about a animal shelter? lol seems to be way to many animals running lose and not being taken care of.

You may think about a tobacco shack that sells a variety of cigarettes and tobacco products. I dont smoke but a lot do and I think a store that specializes in that with a drive thru would be very lucrative.

Thanks for the input. My wife and I are contemplating a second hand store that would cater to lower income. Being in the resale business everyone knows if they want a bargain to come see me! I buy right so i can sell at a great price. Having a 21 year old daughter has shown me that today's younger generation needs help in every way to make their limited funds go as far as possible. It makes us smile too know we can help and provide a valuable service. My only concern is if their is enough community support to make this viable. Do you think this is do-able?? We are still wavering, I have some great ideas because of the location of Sharpsburg, but the first step is too really see what the community wants and needs. Thanks Everyone your comments are similar to some of my thoughts also.

really it needs something for the kids to do to keep them out of trouble and off drugs. there had been ever kind of store in the burg but none has servived except warns and mrs. janevas. so really dont need anything else.
