Here is how I see this one going.
If the bill gives more money to throw down the void entitled Education funding here in MN, Dayton might overlook the fact that the Indian tribes are big contributors to the MN Socialist party which has kept this issue off the radar for years for them. It is more important to keep the education unions happy than the tribes.
That being said, I do not think having government encourage gambling is all that great of an idea. How about we just reduce spending, now that is a much better idea.

I can't believe we have not heard any press from the Indians on this. It leads me to think that this is going nowhere.

Why would they need the press when they have the legislature in their pocket?
How else can you explain that Native American Gaming in the State of Minnesota pays ZERO State Tax, and further is held up across the U.S.A. as what NOT to do visa vi Native American Gaming?
