What Kristine M. Holmgren is saying about this Meetup Group

The personal experiences of women are the fuel that runs all our major institutions; media, politics, academic and commerce. Knowing our power, claiming it, and working it for the betterment of girls and women is more critical now than ever before. Women and men who care about gender equity, economic fairness and the rise of democracy need to be engaged in conversations like this one. Join us!!

Check out the website. This so-called preacher loves lesbianism and hates on white folks. She never should have be let in the door of that prison to teach her misguided Marxist kook philosophy.
Yeah, But she can't clean the carpets at MCF-Shakopee anymore.

Did I miss something?.....Was she an EEOC hire to be a "Presbyterian Pastor"...or was she an EEOC hire to fill different position in her roll as a Lesbian first, and whatever title she wears second??

Another question......Is a "Presbyterian Pastor" a Christian Pastor or a Pastor that happens to have a collar from Presbyterian's?....Are Presbyterian's not Christians?

I am just not Politicaly Correct enough to keep up with all of the varied Victim Classifications found in all of America's Balkanized "Communities"

"Then, the day before she would have become protected from being fired without a reason under state rules, she was terminated. No official reason was given."

How many of us have been hired and then find out our employer has a program that we don't always like or agree with? She tried to change it, which is okay, but after time her employer essentially said "Hey, it's obvious you can't do your best work in the environment we've chosen so please go elsewhere."

This being an "at-will" will state, I didn't think a reason to lay someone off was needed. Even in this situation, whatever rules were in place, her employer complied and took action during a period where it was safe to do so.

Yet she still ends up with a quarter of a million dollars? Based upon the details presented here, this story doesn't sit right with me.

Shut your hole? Nice. You sound a little embittered yourself, young man.
You like that $101 thousand of your taxes go annually to house and convert convicted sex-offenders, murderers and other prisoners to Christianity rather than put them through treatment?
You fe
el safe knowing that this program guarantees their early release - and all they have to demonstrate is a strong Christian faith? That's what the program the Chaplain protested does. It takes the place of incarceration and rehabilitation.
I don't know about you, young fella -- but I'd rather live next door to an sex-offender who got treatment from mental health professionals than a sex-offender who got out of prison for confessing Jesus Christ as his lord and savior. Call me old fashioned.
i wouldn't call your philosophy "old-fashioned" at all, Diane, but rather post-modern actually.

what makes you think the ever changing and often bizarre tactics of new-agers are better than the the tried & true exposure to the gracious morality found in the holy writ? perhaps 'the experts' should go back to using shock treatment?

take another look....

I read this and see nothing wrong with this!! What's wrong with women seeking equality and fairness? What's wrong with working for the betterment of all citizens? Isn't this the platform that the Republicans support? If this is "liberal," so is George W. Bush. No, honey -- this is straight-up American core values. And so was the good fight Holmgren took on.

assuming the position as chaplain under the guise of Christianity & then blatantly opposing the morality that's outlined in its foundational document is somehow "straight-up American core values" to you???

i think you'd like it better in france or somewhere more 'progressive' than the USA...

Thank you God for intelligent, caring, concerned, women throughout our world. Women like Kristine M. Holmgren and Diane in Eden Prairie (and millions more) are true Christians. I don't believe God cares about my sex life, but does care about how I treat my sisters and brothers. I don't believe God is concerned about what country I grew up in but does care about the times I gave someone a place to live when they were in need. Thank you Kristine, Diane, and all women who stand for the 'true' meaning of Christianity.

it is very evident from scripture that God actually cares about both issues.

this makes you, in fact, an unbeliever in the revealed Word of God & a true believer in your own pagan god.
