This year make it a must to shop weekly at your local farmers market.

You will meet those who grow your food. Ask them about their farm, how they plan what to grow, and how many hours they work.

There is something very special when you sit down to a meal and can name the growers that you purchased your food from.
Plus it's local, fresh, and support local economy!!

Hey!

Thanks for that info!

Just curious: Would you know if the participating farmers shy away from the GMO foods?

Thanks for the come-back!
.
I'm just curious —and I hope you don't mind that— but is there is any certifiable way to determine that matter?
.
What I mean to ask is there any kind of testing which can be used to ascertain that no GMO is around?
.

Well, right now we just have to take people's word for it. Have to get to know the farmer and their values.

I went looking, and I came up with this:
.

.
It's a start, and hopefully —if enough farmers and grocers demand the device— it will become available soon for the consumer.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Leo

The atmosphere is highly combustible today, with people getting in a stew over the smallest little thing. You will also have a tendency to get hot under the collar, especially if someone isn't doing things as quickly as you'd like. Try to stop yourself getting in a rage because once that happens it will be difficult to cool down again. Maybe you need some fresh air?
