A Southeast Travis County neighborhood has had it with people from Hays County cutting through their neighborhood on the way to Austin.

I am a northern Hays county resident(22 years) who uses Brodie lane. I would ask Shady Hollow if they can prove thay my tax dollars were not spent on this road!!!. If they cannot (which I am sure of as I have purchased many items in Travis county), Because of this, in my opiion, they have two options.

1. Purchase the road from the county and pay for maintanence themselves.
2. Leave it open.

I also have many developments opening around me that are making my traffic worse, but I do not go around whining for road closures.

The long term solution is Texas 45, but northern Hays county residents are not responsible for the delays in this.
