Whenever I obey the construction speed limits other drivers and trucker ride my bumper. I hope the police enforce the speed limit. Most cities have flashing lights for school zones. Drivers do slow down for the short time when children are in sight, but in Indy it is a speed trap, they are not concerned with safety or they would have reminders to motorist and have realistic time restrictions. Get with it Indy.

I totally agree- some of our neighborhood streets have serious potholes!! You could easily wreck your car if not careful and driving 4 mph!!

City streets and the interstate are two separate things. One is federal funds, the other is city funds.

I think there are worse sections of highway than the one they are going to "fix". I feel sorry for the race fans.

why 45 mph.? why not 25? like we have to drive going through school zones from 7;30 am till 4:30 pm when the students ARE in school? might as well do this to protect the construction workers because at even 45 can cause some major bodily harm! Heck while we are at it,, why not throw this in for all the churches on every corner? at this rate everone will be riding bicycles or walking since there is no reliable bus system in town!

ahhh they'll just F*#! this all up too.
Just like the work around the airport, you ever wonder why they did the same work not too soon after the first time. Ready for this....the money was there so they had to spend it of else they would lose it. nice way to spend taxpayer $$ and make the contractors richer
