Was there something mentally wrong with that boy? He stayed there for 12 hours of abuse with pillheads. Surely they passed out in between beatings and he could have made a run for it, but stayed to take the abuse like an old dog. He looked a little off to me. Was he in special classes, does anyone know?

The Devin case, is a lesson in drug use. Fellow druggies didn't do anything for Devin. A snitch could have prevented the worthless mother and boyfriend from beating Devin to death. Keep using the drugs, stupid, and with your damage brain, I am sure you will find a way to justify your actions.

Don't you remember when you were a child and always believing your Mom would protect you?? That little angel was probably beaten so bad he couldn't walk. Sad part is the Cps officer in this case was a sex fiend and Devons Mother traded sex and drugs to him for special treatment.. He should have been charged with something but you know that all got swept under the rug he got probation Mommy paid big bucks he gets slap on wrist Same ole Dec Co. Money will get you out of just about anything

Think about what you said, now after thinking about it do you realize just how stupid you sound? He was abused and people or children when abused can only think what will happen to me if I escape and leave. Asking if he was slow was the most stupidest thing I have seen posted, and also from what i hear there was no break in his beating his mother and her boyfriend took turns. Now lets hope and pray that you never in a situation you are too scared to run from, you should remove your post just because it was an uncalled for question. Kids are loyal to their parents and i truly believe he never thought in a million years that his mother would ever beat him to death. I normally never judge people but you are one stupid a$$ person for even asking if he was slow or handicapped. R.I.P Devin and know many of us still are having a hard time understanding why this had to happen to such a sweet child like you or for any child for that matter.
