Officials hope Sevier voters will re-think tax hike to help schools

While students are looking forward to the holiday break, officials with the Sevier County School System are dreading looming budget problems.

Why is it that people with the least to say are the ones that talk the most? It's kind of like a church choir, there's always one person in the choir who has this twangy irritating voice and it seems that they are always the ones who sing the loudest... This is especially true among politicians, Barney Frank is a prime example. Barney Frank is like a muppet that Jim Henson put together when he was drunk! LOL When America was founded politicians came from all walks of life, from farmers to lawyers, I think there should be a maximum age for Senators and Congressmen, ya know like 70 should be the cutoff, after that they should be forced into retirement. I think too that there should be a term limit on Supreme Court Jutices and that those seats should be elected positions. It seems our government spends an inordinate amount of time in nominations and confirmation hearings for Supreme Court seats when their time could be spent better elsewhere doing important things, ya know, like watching the economy and making sure it doesn't collapse or holding hearings on steroid use in professional baseball...wait...what?...did I just say that? Wow, I started this out as a discussion against stupidity and somehow it ended up being a political rant! Maybe because the two are so closely tied together...LOL!
