Seymour starts the new year with a new first selectman at the helm and a new Superintendent of Schools set to take over in July.

Does this mean that special needs kids finally get their own class with a curriculum geared towards these special needs. I always thought it was a terrible thing to put special needs student into the standard classes. I can't imagine the torture of having to compete with classmates who do not have special needs. That would be like forcing a person who has lost their limbs to join the Olympic swim team and get the same results.

How about an alternative education program for the high school!
When is the BOE going to wake up. Kisa are being lost through the cracks at the HS. The HS needs an alternative education program
