Let me ask you this, If Romney won and the group home was turned down, would you think that the zoning board was correct in their decision? Would your remark have ended with .....this is romneys america? This has nothing to do with who is president.

Maybe BPT just meant liberals everywhere are emboldened.... as in the Bridgeport zoning people. They ARE emboldened in other areas right now, like raising our taxes, taking our guns, ruining our healthcare, and telling us what we can eat. I do think you had a good response though.

OMG No one is going to take your damn guns. I'm so sick of everyone running around screaming they are going to take our guns. You know what's going to happen-nothing. They'll have their meeting and councils and in the end nothing will happen. Perhaps a ban on assualt weapons going forward, big deal. I really doubt that any law will be passed that makes anyone give up the guns they already have. Taxes would have gone up w/Romney. Our healthcare has been in ruins for years and years. I agree with you on the food tho. Ban large sodas? Really? How stupid.

This whole gun thing-it's not the guns, it's the crazies with the guns. Too bad doctors can't ask the crazies if they have guns. http://www.forbes.com/sites/carolynmcclanahan...

I agree with you on the food tho. Ban large sodas? Really? How stupid. I would have agreed with you a month ago. Did you know that in Washington D.C. which is a liberal hell, you can't own a handgun? There is legislation now being proposed to confiscate legal guns. I don't know that that will happen, but there is a better chance of it happening now than ever. I will say that the particulars I've heard from the Messiah and Biden are reasonable- mental health checks, reducing magazine size... I'm ok with that, now that our society is so sick that we are massacring each other. Bottom line for me: this administration is unamerican, they have seized your healthcare, now they will ruin it, and they could take your guns. Maybe. Do you read Drudge? There are loads of headlines about liberal senators confiscating guns. These headlines are collected from major national newspapers. They are not 'made up' by some crazy conservative.

Obama sends his kids to Sidwell Freinds school. The First thing he did as president was end the Washington D.C. voucher program that allowed inner city Children to attend Sidwell.(Couldn't have his kids mix whith those "others") The school has ELEVEN (11) ARMED SECURITY staff on site. This does NOT include the Secret Service(Obamas' Kids) nor the estimated 30 ARMED bodyguards protecting the other "privileged" children in attendence.(this includes Gregory/meet the press,Who wailed about gun posession at schools..This is about power..Power over you and me. It has nothing to do with "their" rights..Just ours...

Back to the topic, I don't blame the neighbors for not wanting the women vets in their neighborhood. Imagine all the noise the dogs and cats would make.

Let's acknowledge that president scumbag does need special protection for his daughters though. The are at real risk, being who they are. But how many liberal elites help ruin public education, and then send their kids to private schools. Sickening.

And while I'm no fan of guns, I disagree with that. What's your feeling on ammo tracking. I don't think it would be a terrible idea to keep track when people are buying ammo. Maybe the CO shooting could have been avoided if anyone was aware of the fact that he was stockpiling ammo. I don't think there is any real answer or solution.

I agree they do need a home and was upset to see it was denied. However if it's true that the neighborhood already have 40 group homes, I can see their point. Maybe you're right, I hope you're wrong. I've said it before-but my wallet has gotten fatter since he became president. Now whether or not that has anything to do with him, I can't say for sure.
