On par with Monroe? Excellent. You should see their tax bills compared to ours.

I can imagine. Monroes mil rate is 29.5 while Derbys is 26.4.

This administration derserves a kudos for keeping the taxes flat, funding education, and receiving a bond upgrade.

Are you nuts, we will be laying off teachers.
More kids to a class room.
All the parents got rid of Mark for lying about a new school.
Well it is time to get rid of this jerk we have for a mayor now before the value of my house goes down.
Who wants to buy a home when the eduction is a little better then Bridgeport.

Lay off the teachers. They deserve it for all their greed. Time for payback.

Derby Man, what is your solution?

Give even more money to education until people cannot afford to live in Derby anymore??

The mayor funded the superintendents budget, what more can you ask for??

Plus, he got you a new middle school.

Good for you Derby. The teacher union is trying to strong arm all the towns. Lay some of them off and educate them to what the rest of us have to deal with. They use the children as human shields and should be a shame of themselves. They always complain how hard they have it and have it better than most of us.

That's right.

Great going Derby. Keep Derby affordable. Monroe has far to many over opinionated snobs that think throwing a never ending supply of money at the school system better. This logic has already caused Monroe not to have necessary services like sewers.
