When you post a story like this, why not show a picture of the truck?

Hey wait a second!,,,,,didn't they just purchase a similar truck a couple of years ago and it was always parked in front......Does Seymour really need this, I mean com'on what actually goes on in Seymour that would require such a vehicle.....If something did, Seymour doesn't have the resources or experience to handle it so the state police are always called in to these small towns....This is nothing but Show Boating.........They want people to think they are a big time agency

Where do you think all the equipment will have to come from if terrorists decide to attack a BIG CITY,(like Cheshire), and wipe out all of theirs. Planning for the unexpected is the sign of a professional department. I think every town in CT calls in the State Police for major crimes, even Cheshire, if my recollection of current events serves me correctly. The State Police are called because they have the most advanced equipment, now if Seymour purchased a truck that matches, or surpasses the State PD, that would be "show boating."

It's not the best of pictures, but it's better than what the Post showed:

You do realize those calling the Police "clowns" are probably pot-heads busted by aforementioned "clowns".

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Cancer

It's a sensational Full Moon in your sign, combined with a lunar eclipse! Holy cow! However, once you accept that even the best-laid plans could go awry today, you'll find that life is a lot easier to cope with. Try your hardest to take everything in your stride, even if you do have to rethink an arrangement at the eleventh hour. At least it's never a dull moment! Do your best not to let the tensions of the day spoil what promises to be some spectacular New Year's Eve celebrations. It will be an opportunity to let off steam. Have fun!
