1 In the summer those of us who appriciate the outdoors are always looking for somwhere to either have a nice meal, or a great cup or cappacino. |

2 What we NEED downtown is companies moving offices here NOT these idiotic yuppie theme restaurants most of whom are going to fail since there are fewer people even working downtown these days. |

I just heard about this place and I'm planning to check it out next time I'm in that area. Plus a new Italian place is opening on Main St. I don't understand why anyone would put a negative spin on this. If you don't want to patronize the places, don't, but at least wish them success.

1 Because the ignorant and super rich don't like to see the poverty that they have created. Yes, there are people out there who honestly think that people choose to be poor and deprived, that the extremely rich don't take care of their kind. There are also people that honestly believe that keeping wages down with higher taxes and expensive goods keep the poor down while the elite ride on the back of those who perform labor. Without cities like Hartford and Bridgeport there would be no wealthy citizens to reap all of the benefits. |

1 Thank you. We have worked very hard on opening a nice place that provides good quality food for a lower price.. I hope you enjoy! |

We are still serving. Our burgers are made from 100% beef, well, sort of.

Good luck to Liz & Ian! Don't pay attention to the poster on here who is using this as a political platform to criticize the mayor. I'm certain that because I am defending the new restaurants that are opening downtown that within the next 10 minutes the same blog troll will be accusing me of working in city hall (I don't, by the way). I live downtown and I enjoy the positive changes I'm seeing. I've been to your place and my meal was just fine and the price was right! Kudos!
