Someone asked about her court date.....Wadsworth Court 8/19/2009 @ 8:30. It is the arraignment.
THANKS!!!
Lets all go to this court date. Make signs. Let the Judge and prosecuter know this will not be tolerated. They need to do something now. What a great political move it would be for them to throw the book at her. Mothers Against Drunk Drivers has made great progress by showing up in the court room. We can too. Don't just blog about it, DO SOMETHING!! We need to show them that there has to be tougher laws on animal cruelty.
Are you going to be there?
Please bring friends, tell everyone you know.
Whose with me on this? Let me know you will be there.

As if you know so well how animals are slaughtered?! There are countless undercover videos taken inside slaughterhouses that have been compiled over the years showing unexcusable cruelty. Here's a good example: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/...
If you would like to watch the video in question:

These are not isolated incidents. Spent egg-laying hens were routinely disposed of by being passed through woodchipers; female pigs crated in a space so small that they can't even turn around or stand up; calves kept in crates so tiny that they cannot stand up or turn around; downer cows being kicked, dragged and prodded to face the final blow to their short, tragic lives: slaughter.
But don't take my word for it:
wood chipped hens: http://www.upc-online.org/avma/AVMAad.pdf
crated sows: http://www.hsus.org/farm/resources/research/p...
crated calves: http://www.hsvma.org/advocacy/news/hsvma_peti...
These are all well documented events and farming practices that have occurred and, in large part, continue to to occur.
Considering that pigs are just as intelligent and nearly as trainable as dogs, there is no plausible or moral justification as to why farm animals are not afforded comparable protections as companion animals. Perhaps you are the one who needs to keep her mouth shot because you clearly have not done your homework and are completely clueless.
