I don't understand how someone could be so cruel and mistreat a defenseless animal. I hope the woman responsible gets the maximum penalty. She should never be allowed to have another animal.

If a person doesn't get retrained, their behavior will stay the same...just like animals! She obviously deserves jail time, but also needs to be required to follow through with counseling. Otherwise she can just move elsewhere and do the same thing over and over again!!!

I find it sickening that any one could do this. I have raised dogs all my life and cared for horses, the labs in the photo, that is the breed of dogs I have raised. The laws need to change, how long will society let thing go on with animal abuse. the only one that really suffers is the animals, how sad that makes me.

This makes me so sick. I think anyone who abuses animals and is found guilty should have to register like a sex offender....no matter where they go! That way they can never be in posession of another animal. You can tell by looking at this woman that she couldn't care less! Anyone who went to her so-called kennel and saw those deplorable conditions and still bought an animal, shame on you! How could you look at that and say "sure I'll buy one!" these people should get fined as well for not telling on her. Prosecute to the fullest extent of the law! Unfortunately, that's not very much where animals are concerned. These laws need to be changed, that's why we always have repeat offenders, because the time and fine isn't S**T!

My question is, if someone does not want to take care of animals properly, why have them? This is ridicules, this woman does not want to be bothered or she is too lazy to care for them properly, so WHY does she have animals at all? Give them to good homes to be taken care of and loved, instead of letting them starve to death or die of thirst, ridicules...

This is ridiculous. You would think that if someone was in jail for the same offence they would learn a lesson. Well I guess not, this lady should get the max. penalty. Here is an idea, why dont they have a data base of people that have abused animals? that way if a sick person like this lady goes to adopt a cat or dog it would pop up that they have been convicted of animal abuse. Just a step in helping the animals..

To all of you who want to adopt one, Go there in person. There are alot of dogs who need homes, I'm sure you can find one or two. There are alot of lab mixes in humane societies that need homes. My last 2 dogs were lab mixes from Animal protective league in Cleveland. They are great dogs!!!
TO ALL THE BREEDERS, You are part of the over population problem! Please stop breeding! You are being very selfish and greedy!
DON'T BUY WHILE SOME DIE!!!!!!!!!
This woman is a very greedy, selfish, sick person.
We have to have tougher animal cruelty laws!
They should be registered like sex offenders!!
How many years has she been abusing these dogs? She should have been checked on weekly!
She was probably selling these dogs to Petland. They get all their dogs from puppy mills like this one.
When is her court date? I would like to go in support of these dogs. And show the Judge we will not tolerate it. Just like MADD does, as Judges are afraid of Mothers Against Drunk Driving. We should all show up and start making Judges afraid of us!
Does anyone know of a petition to sign against her? Taking a petition to court does help.

Regardless if this woman has had jail-time in the past and has repeated the offense doesn't mean that she did not care for those dogs. She is a very caring person, but I will admit that she is not the best caregiver.

I am not going to say that what she has done is acceptable by any means! Animal cruelty is wrong and the laws should be changed! But until they do, people will continue to have a pet to have a pet and sometimes it gets out of control, like in this case. This woman, I know and is a part of my family and she is a great person but she does have a problem that needs counseling and the ASPCA obviously let her off the hook the first time and hopefully this time she will learn her lesson and the ASPCA won't let her have anymore dogs! I was there when she was arresting the first time and I had a field trip to the county jail where she was, only to see her with the other inmates as my class was walking through.

If she goes to jail again, so be it. Maybe this time they'll counsel her too and teach her that owning a dog is not just about owning it but treating it as part of the family and not just something that gives you attention when you stop by.

Only ask that all good people that will give those pups a home, please take care of them to the best ability that you can and never let them go! They deserve better than what they had!

This witch would probably be a serial killer if she weren't afraid of the going to jail for the rest of her life. Instead she chooses to focus her sociopathic behavior on defenseless animals because the penalties are so light. First and foremost she needs to lose thos property on Willow Rd. The county needs to seize this property from her & donate it to an animal rescue organization. She then needs to be fined and jailed the maximum amount of money & time (to be served consecutively) for each individual count of animal cruelty. Then when she gets out she needs to be monitored for many years to come to make sure that she never owns another animal-and I mean not even a goldfish. She also should be ordered to be treated by a psychologist so that her sociopathic tendencies are addressed.

Did you know this was going on and did not report it? How could you not report it and let these dogs suffer? Obviously she needs serious help. How could a member of her family let this go on and not get her the help she needs. And the help these dogs need? If you knew this was happening and did not report it, you are just as guilty as she is!
NO she did not care about these dogs! If she did, she would have cleaned their cages and gave them fresh water a couple times a day. Or called humane society to tell them she needs help and can not care for them.
