As for jobs being sent over seas...that will also continue to happen. Americans demand more and more money and more and more benefiets but don't want to pay higher prices for things when the purchase them. Doesn't work that way. If you want $29 an hour so sit on your butt working an assembly line or $15 an hour to flip burgers or say "you want fries with that" then expect to pay $50 for a simple calculator and $12 for a double cheese at McDonalds. The American people want to blame everyone but themselves for the problems this country is facing. And the truth is the American People have done it to themselves. Now everyone wants to cry and blame somebody else for the problems the country are facing.

for your info i am hispanic but i have been here legally for 32 years i went through alot to get here i had to learn to speak english i always obey the law, and i respect this country and its citizens. but i do not think it right for illegals to come here and take such advantage of good deeds and that is wht they are doing having baby after baby 4 families living in one house all taking advantage of the welfare system. i never speak spanish in public because i was told early on that it is disrespectful to americans. guess my father was wrong. but if they want to be here they should go through it the proper way like my family HAD too.

How is it disrespectful to Americans. If I were to visit Mexico or any other country where they speak another language I would talk to my friends in English NO MATTER WHERE I WERE AT. It is disrespectful to go in a store and go to the register and babble in Spanish and then get mad at the cashier because they can't understand you.

I totally agree everyone who comes into this country needs to do it in the proper ways. But as you have seen from these posts people are just ignorant bigots. People around here see a Hispanic and automatically assume they are illegal.

Hey,they do many more jobs than farm jobs.Construction jobs are lost to them because they do work for low wages I personally know people that do drywall that lost their jobs because the illegals do it for less wages.The bottom line is they are in this country illegal and have broken the law,and should be returned to their own country.As for the lazy part ,there are teenagers who would do farm work,my son did,I did and I know many others who worked on farms and in the woods.You don't see the big picture ,give them amnesty and many many more will come expecting the same.

That's what the job is and what it pays. And the reason the Mexicans were brought in for the summers to do these jobs is because NO ONE here including all these teenagers you speak of would do the work. The origional plan was to bring in migrant workers for the summer and have them to do the jobs the Americans didn't want to do and then they go back home. It just backfired on them when they stayed.

I have a couple questions and some statements. Why is noone saying anything about the businesses who employee "the so called illegals". I see people saying some are lazy. What if you could take a second job and not be taxed. I wonder who wouldnt do in these times. I do not have a problem with people making the money, I see where the problem is is the business and the goverment who allows it. Think about it if you could make 9 or 10 dollars under the table-then isnt that better than making 6-7 and being taxed? I work in a retail enviroment where the so called illegals come in all the time. I see them using 100 dollars bills and only out of country ids. So think about it if you can make it some where else why wouldnt you. Who do you blame them or the govt.
