"Frey said he didn't like spending the night at Central Booking and was taken to York Hospital because the handcuffs were too tight. Frey, who is on disability, said he might not be able to work again because of the handcuffs."

Am I reading this right....he left a baby in the car and was arrested and now he can't work again because the hand cuffs were too tight???? What the.....? Give me a break!

At least it seems to be that both parents are morons. I was afraid it was only the Father. That makes me feel better about this situation.

kudos to the man who called police for help...sometimes it is easier just not to get involved but this man had the courage to help

I hope this couple doesn't have another child or plan on having any more! I also don't think God would approve of leaving an infant in a car in 100 degree heat. If it was 100 outside, the heat inside the car was even higher, even with the windows down. How would these people have felt if the neighbor hadn't called police and their baby had died or suffered brain damage from the heat??? I guess THAT would have been God's plan!!!! If that would have been the case, it would have only been because he knew the baby would have been better off in heaven with him than with his moron parents!!!!!!! How can ANYONE justify leaving a baby inside a car, unattended no matter what the temperature is outside. There are so many people out there (loving people) that want children so much and for whatever reason, can't have any. Then morons like this couple have them and could care less. Don't deserve children because they don't know how to care for them. I hope this little one makes it to adulthood.
The cuffs too tight!!! Seriously!! Too damn bad they were arount his neck!!!! He and his wife should be locked inside a car in 100 degree heat with the windows down just a little for an hour and see how they like it!!!
How stupid can some people be????
CAN'T FIX STUPID!!!!!!

They are both on disability because they are mentally retarded. I hope they don't have anymore kids.

I wonder about the neighbor too - why didn't he look for a parent by knocking on doors starting with the houses closest to the car? I understand his legal concerns about taking the child out of the car and into his house, but if a child's life is in danger, at least take the child out of the car, sit somewhere in plain sight next to the car or under a tree in some shade and get a cool cloth to comfort the child. Sometimes I think our first thoughts are not to get involved because of the legalalistic society we've become, but you also have to consider what could happen if you do nothing but stand by and call the police. The child still could have suffered heat stroke while the neighbor was on the phone with police doing nothing to help it. It's just a sad situation - luckily the child is ok.

+1 to the comments in hoping that these idiots don't have any other children.

They should have made the handcuffs tighter, then left him to bake in the police vehicle for awhile. "hanovergirld" is right...they should have put them around his neck.

Can't work because the cuffs were too tight? Pathetic. Time to bring back the chain gangs, and this guy should be the first honorary member.

I'm really a little shocked at the entire situation and at the lack of responsibility taken by the Father regarding his actions. Someone posted that these people were on disability because they are mentally retarded. In my opinion, if these people have a disability than it is children and youths responsibility to ensure that these folks get hours and hours of child rearing and safety classes. Clearly, they need to learn how to care for their child before the worst happens.

"Boston said they do not live together, but Frey stays at the home because it makes her feel safer."

Um....isn't that living together?...And you want to bring Jesus into it???

The handcuffs were so tight they will prevent him from working in the future? What idiot lawyer told him to say that or would even go there???

I love how the stories of these people are so different. First the story was he forgot the baby was there and thought somebody else was watching him. Now it's that the baby was sleeping and he put the windows down. He says he was only inside for a few minutes and the grandfather says 20 to 30. These people all seem to be full of sh*t. Claiming he can't work because handcuffs were too tight, now that is a new one. How original...another lazy lowlife blaming somebody else for his not working. Guess next he will try to sue the police...and probably get something the way losers make out these days. Take the baby and put him with responsible adults who have no ties to these idiots!!

I am so glad my tax dollars are going to help these poor poor people...I so enjoy that I have to bust my ass everyday to pay my bills,(minus health care..Because I CANT AFFORD it) so these people can be better products of our community. These people are totally OUTRAGEOUS!!!! I am sick and tired of reading shit about stupid, ignorant people. That father and mother should be nuetered and then sat in a blazing vehicle to rot!!!

Hey give the man a break....his trailer doesnt have air conditioning. I am glad my tax dollars can help him enjoy a few cold ones, while his child is being exposed to second hand smoke so we the tax payers can support the next generation because he only has a third grade education. Way to go DADDY!!!!!

What a pair, these two. Time to get some tubes tied and sterilized. Poor little boy!! I am glad he is okay, but this never should have happened.

Side Note: Why didn't the grandfather ask where his grandson was at?? This whole thing just doesn't make sense. I can't wrap my brain around how someone could brush this off as just being a "mistake".

Pathetic.
