Somebody ought to put him in a car tomorrow, lock him in, put up the windows and forget about him. He should be charged with attempted murder. Jerk!

The windows were down so someone could have reached in and removed baby from the car, obviously the person watching the kid could give a rats ass less. Some people should not reproduce or breath!

The child should go to Children's Services for assistance. As to the father, do a quick BMI (body mass index), and stuff him a car on a hot day for an equivalent period of time...no water, no nothing.

This is SO sad to read! These people have something else on there mind..........and it IS NOT the child! Gee, did he buy a bag and use it? Or may he be a drunk? Both make for a short span of memory..........my guess........hhhmmmm, DRUGS!

What's the matter with the brain of a person who forgets that he has a baby in the car? Moments before he held the child to put him/her into the car. What made him suddenly stupid? Once inside the apartment didn't he realize that something/one was missing? Just how brain dead is this stupid, irresponsible man?

Morons! Don't people get it? Don't leave ANY living, breathing thing in your car, even just for a few minutes.

Kudos to the person who phoned the authorities. An angel was truly watching over this child.

They ought to build a huge oven and put the man in it with the temperature set at 96 degrees to simulate what the child went through.Mabe he will think about what the child went through next time. What was he doing inside? Was he getting some nookie and didn't want the child to see?

I agree, the person that called should be very proud of themselves for saving this baby.

This breaks my heart to read. I'm sooo glad someone was smart enough to call the police. That "man" (use the term loosely) is a complete DB. SOme people should not ever be trusted with a child.

Maybe it was a honest mistake, sometimes bad things happen to good people. At least he didnt try to make some lame excuse,he was straight up,he said he forgot about the baby.

Don't think for a minute this prick just "forgot" about this infant. He chose himself over the helpless. But it's just the beginning of a long line of bulls*it this dude will come up w/ through his trial to ultimately get....wait for it....PROBATION! So who's the greater risk to the welfare of our most innocent? This loser babysitter who almost killed the baby or the bureocracy of our Courts who permit men and women like this to continue their ways? The System needs to be more proactive versus reactive. If we know a specific adult is harmful to children, why then would we make it easier for them to do harm by offering probation and reduced sentences? I'd give this a*shole 5 years and keep a conviction on his record. It'd be a hat-trick. He'd learn his lesson by 1) losing years of his life, 2) by never being able to obtain employment involving children and 3) functioning as an example to others who may risk doing the same type of behavior

I dont want people like this allowed to live free in society!

I just knew there'd be at least one. The only person "a bad thing" happened to here is the baby.
