Sorry to hear this. We were on the ride behind them. She did have a helmet on. Our prayers go out to the family and friends.

Defensive driving, defensive driving, defensive driving; whether in a car (seatbelts also)/truck (seatbelts also)/cycle (helmet also). SFD (safe following distance) is also very important. Especially when traveling in a convoy...things (chain reaction) happen rapidly. What a shame!
Condolences to the family. Prayers to the riders who were attempting to do well.

I approached this accident from the east bound lane. My husband and I immediately stopped to offer our assistance until the medical personnel arrived. What a shame it was to see many drivers gauck and stare but NOT STOP to help. I attended to the husband of the victim. She was wearing a helmet. This was an unfortunate accident. You can't judge unless you know what happened. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends.

Are you or your husband a nurse/doctor/EMT? With ALL those other bikers present to assist the injured, you had to stop and gawk, I mean assist. More than two is a crowd. Thanks for your help.

When will you people learn?

Your all fools.

I've been riding for over 25 years and I will never ride in a group.

SGT W was killed during a group ride. Group rides should be banned.

motorcycles are even safe among themselves. They are not quick to repond to changes in traffic like a car is and they are less visible EVEN TO EACH OTHER.

This should be a wakeup call for all bikers

She was my Aunt and a wonderful person and WAS wearing a helmet...the benefit was for a friend of the family and for a good cause! Please, keep all the negative thoughts and comments to yourselves!

You are quite the stand up guy (more like a dumba$$). Just because people are there does not mean they are qualified or have the knowledge to offer assistance. Maybe these people had soom sort of CPR cours. I am so sick of reading comments from people that are so insensitive as you. You may have many reasons for being so cynical(ie. family that could careless about you, A mommy who never breastfed you, Daddy that molested you)? you pick which one is it. It seems to me that the world would be better place without you!

You know, I have to deal with this loss from afar as I am in Texas and can not make it home to my family. I have turned to the internet to find answers for what my family tells me they aren't being told and this is what I have to find. This thread should do NOTHING LESS than offer condolences for my family in their time of mourning. You people that have turned it into something else should be ashamed of yourselves. She was a wonderful woman with 3 beautiful children and a family that loved her...PERIOD!! This is a tragic loss to our family...I beg you, if you aren't here to pay your respects, please just dont respond, show some respect!

I also was right behind the crash when it happend. I also lended a hand to help. I am firefighter, I noticed others that came form their cars to help. I know there was other firefighters, ems and some nurses there to help. We all tried our best to help until the rescue personel of that area arrived on scene. This is not an act of us (people in the crowd)tring to be heros. This is called being a true human being. Why? Because we can and we know what to do. We help because it is our job. So to you(Badge of courage of moscow, pa). You are an ignorant person for writing what you wrote. Just because you don't like your life and want to ruin others with your remarks, keep it to your self. And don't worry if something would happen to you in front of us we would attemp to help you too. TO ALL THAT HELPED, GOOD JOB FOR DOING YOUR BEST.
TO THE FAMILIES OF THE VICTOMS OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU.
GOD BLESS TO ALL.

Thank you mike and others for stepping up and proving we as humans can help and not just ignore a problem. I can sleep tonight knowing that people still care. God bless all involved, and ignore the jerks on here , they will make you go nuts!

I was the young man with the two cell phones calling 911 during the accident. I was two cars behind the accident. All that I can say is, may God bless and heal the entire family of any and everyone that may have been affected from this unfortunate accident. The Father places us here for a reason and a season. So, lets put the negative comments aside and just be thankful for the time and the family that we have here on this Earth. Peace be unto you all.
