The Boone Co. dog shelter at orgas has 28!!! puppies that need loving homes, please if you know someone or you yourself have room and the love to give please go and see if you can save a life. The cost is 50$ for adoption unfortunatley thats the law they'd give them for free if they could but the fee was establised a few years back and passed because it was a revolving door people would come get a puppy get tired of it then it would end up back there. And if you have dogs or cats please have them spayed or neutered most of the puppies up there are barely weened, if you can't provide loving homes for a litter if your pet has one then be responsible and have it fixed its beyond sad that these innocent little animals will most likely have a needle put in their lil bodies to eutinze them because people just don't care.

I agree! If someone is too stupid or lazy to get his or her animal fixed, then that person doesn't need one!

never knew there was a dog shelter in Orgas. I lived there most of my life and never knew of one. I know there's one between fosterville and Coopertown, but never one in Orgas
