I recently went back after 12 years and was shocked to see many businesses boarded up and how dirty and unkept Sesser looked. With the campgrounds right outside of town I thought that Sesser would take advantage of the traffic from Renn Lake and at least be growing some. As I said it was quite a shock to see antique shops instead of viable businesses.

I do agree to some degree. My problem is the city park! The trash cans are full, trash all over the place and they don't even keep the flower beds up. They put the coal mine memorial and have the homecoming every year but the playground is awful! When I take my grandchildren to the park we drive to another town!
