According to what was said in the council meeting, it will!! Just what we need, someone else "supervising". The City creates jobs for the "clique" while the town is going downhill! The public works dept doesn't need someone to "watch" over them. They are adults not 5 year children...Sounds like that home rule is really working out for the city of Herrin.will this new supervisor position include a vechicle to drive free of charge to?
As far as the comments about fireworks, Why can't the cost be split between the city and Herrinfest? Herrinfest can afford $40,000 for lighting?!? and even more than that for the sound?
