I am glad to see the Mayor and the good citizens of Sesser are making an effort to bring culture and entertainment to the city. Its nice to know there is not only talent from outside but our own home grown variety.
I have walked by the old opera house many many times, on the way to Jone,s barbershop, to the dime store, or to Pete and Emil,s store. I have always wanted to see what was inside. I wondered why such a pretty building, that was a center to the cultural life of Sesser at one time, was never used.
I wish everyone success, and I hope that the young people take advantage of having the Opra House. There is way too much out there, than drinking beer, and partying at the lake. Repeat of comment of related story
