The mayor is the least of our worries. There is alot worse people in this town that needs to go. Everybody worries about all the wrong doing of the mayor, but these other people need to take a long hard look at their own lives before complaining about someone else. And trust me the stuff they have done is worse. And they supported. Ned for many years. Hey have lied, cheated, and stole. And even worse. It will all come back and haunt them one day. They have preyed on good people for too lonng.

. And do you have proof of the lying, cheating and stealing? Maybe you are worse than any of them. What people are you referring to anyway?

Proof......who needs proof....you won't find any......he has too many puppets to do his dirty work. How else do you think he can afford an escalade and now a BMW.....really.....I want sesser to b back the way it was when you don't have to worry about getting bullied by the cops just for walking down the sidewalk.

I know who you mean and yes they are cold hearted and two face. Don't think they have the right to tell people who to date and how to run his campaign! They walk around and call themselves Christians ...better look up the meaning of the word "Practice What You Preach"

It looks like we are finally looking in the right places about the mayor of this fine City. The letter that just went out is only the tip of the iceberg on how he has made this city his own little kingdom so he can profit for himself in one way or another. He does not want the real truth about the Tif stuff to come out because of all the money coming in. I bet when all is really explained with out his spin on this, the Sesser residents will be mad as hell. On another subject, I talked with an aldermen from my ward and asked him when is the city going to decorate main street for the holidays. Are we going to wait until the last week before they go up like the last few years again? He said its the street Suptintendent whos in charge of it, and he hasn't heard either.

I think sending a letter asking for money during the holidays is horrible! This is the time to spend with family and enjoy! Remember there is 2 sides to every story and maybe you shouldn't believe everything you read or hear especially on this site! As far as decorations talk to the the fire dept. they put them up!

The fire department gets told when to put them up. And they weren't told the last few years. And I personally am embarrassed to have those old decorations put up anyway. Its time for some new ones. These are so old, falling apart and most of the lights on them don't work. Its time for some updated decorations. Hey does anyone know of any memorial anywhere in this town or the fire department property, for the fallen firefighter that was lost. There's one for the coal miners, and a stretch of highway named for a soldier, where's the one for a line of duty death from the fire dept. Hmmm............. guess we have forgotten about him. That figures. It wld be nice to also have a memorial in our town for the veterens we have, lost and that have recently served our country. That wld also be a honor. Food for thought people. Those veterens are just as important. Well my opinion, they are more important.

yah well these people, I do believe are starting to realize, that noone gives a damn about them anymore. The only friends they have aare young kids. They are learning that money can't buy everything. Even tho, money has bought them alot. But that runs out, and so does trust. What a shame, they thought they were somebody special in this town, guess the people have started to speak. Nobody cares if they are here or not. Just fading away. HaHa.

People in Sesser seem to have to much time on their hands.
All they do is set around and complain about everything come election time.
You have one of the best mayors in Southern Illinois. Be glad you don't have some of the others.

Sesser is one of the better-run cities in southern Illinois and CERTAINLY the best-run in Franklin County. I know your mayor and don't like him, personally, but if I lived in Sesser, I'd vote for him.

When you elect public officials, it's better to cast your vote for the intelligent, capable and competent ones, rather than the ones you'd like to go out for a beer with or have for a next-door neighbor.
