Sounds like there are a bunch of crooks running the town. This is outrageous. But then folks get what they vote for.

Raise taxes on the box stores and real estate developers! Time for our elected officials to take a class in budgeting and not mismanagement.
Makes one wonder how much "handshaking" went on when the expansion started a few years ago.

Tax breaks and loopholes for the big guys, while they raise taxes on the people. Makes a lot of sense if you're profiting from it.
