This guy is a freak. These people did nothing to deserve this and he deserves a life sentence. The man obviously has problems. Ever since this happened nobody even feels safe in their homes. It's sick.

Why is it; that every one assumes this guy is guilty of murder?, because of what the papers write? or because of what the police say?. What would you do if you were in a similar position and you did not do the crime yet people had you already judged and condemed before the arraignment and trial, what is sick is people like you just assuming; people need to get the fact's straigt before calling people freaks, saying this man has problems or saying they need a life sentence, before all the facts are in. Sure he was busted with the ID but that does not constitute that the man murdered any one.

Sheree, you of all people should understand freaks. Just travel a few miles to Nogalez and justify their behavior. I say let the guy loose in Quilcene after announcing it in The Leader. Let the hunt begin...

Quilguy, first of all I am more than just a few miles from Noglaes, second I would not attempt to justify anyones behavior, the point I was trying to make was everyone was convicting this guy BEFORE he was tried by a jury of his peers,What ever happened to Innocent until proven guilty? Is this what our democracy has become? Lets just be nasty before he's been proven guilty?,let me ask you wha constitutes being a freak? Is it because of his life style?, Is it his looks?, is it the people he hangs out with?, help me understand the mentality (sp) of this.

Quilguy: Do freaks really live in Nogales? And what 'behavior' of theirs needs to be justified?

These were two very kind and loving people. In my younger years, they touched my heart with love and compassion. They were innocent, and knowing mORE than oyu do via~~family, your WAY off, and He is Guilty, and if you care so much for that ass hole then you also need to be locked up with him. Its dumb-asses like your mind-set that need to re-educate themselves about sick-minds-sick-people. Only Guilty try to take the EASY way out. Gee, I wonder why he's at the Hosp? Not becasue He failed at killig himself I bet. Shut your ignorant trapp before your stupid comments hurt the loved-ones left behind to deal with this chaos. BTW..thx for your compassion.

Kennewick; all I asked was a question, I understand, the hurt and the anger, however my question still remains unanswered why did everyone have this guy convicted and tried before he had even gone to court, why was everyone calling him evil names before he was tryed and convicted, and you are wrong, I am very attatched and in the know to this case, and I know alot more than you think, if you feel that I am sick or a freak for asking this question than so be it, you are entitled to you opnion, if you feel that I am a dumbass as you so called me, so be it, it is your opnion, you tell me to shut my ignorant trap before my stupid comment hurt loved ones left behind, excuse me this is a forum, I asked a simple question, I understand that Mr. Pierce was convicted, my question was why did the whole town have him convicted before he was convicted by a jury of his peers, not a hard one to answer. And for the record, I do not live in Phoenix, this is just where its linking from, if you look around more you will also see it says Camp Verde. And I will not shut my ignorant trap. I have as much as an opnion as you or the next person.

Sheree; not everyone in the town thought him guilty before the trial!
Let's also remember that the "System" has been corrupted & most have lost there faith in it.

I have been hearing this more and more; I hear some are moving out of town, what I don't understand is the procection used two individuals as witnesses that had worse records than Micheal, and one of them got a plea agreement for the testimony, I still am not convinced that he is quilty, they way this trial went down was un-believable.

Anna; is this what you think, thought,or is this what the police say?(that he was coming down off meth) I know about this case and I know Michael, I'm surprised no one has figured out I am his sister!!!!!, and yes I know more about this case than you would know, the question that was asked is why did everyone have him condemed and quilty "before" he was tried by a jury of his peers, that was the only question I asked, or is it everyone's mentality to have someone condemend before trial? And if you would have re-read the post's you would have seen all that was asked was one question, but you like the rest of the hang-em high town had him convicted before the jury, It seems in todays era of people, everyone assumes someone is guilty until convicted, I am sorry for your loss and your pain, but you and everyone else have to remember; Micheal Pierce has a family, has no one considered(sp) that they are also at a loss and in pain for this terriable act that was bestowed upon these fine foloks, not one person asked, how is his mom doing not one person asked how is the family of Micheal Pierce doing, why??, remember we the family did not commit this crime.

Just so you know...I went into this not knowing a thing about this case. I personally found him guilty based on ALL the circumstantial and factual evidence. I do my very best to not be a judgemental person and knew going in that I would need to have the state proove to me that he was guilty because he was innocent as far as I was concerned. I do feel that 'Freak' is an unfair word and would not use that myself. I didn't take into account his reactions, such as smirks or glares, because noone could know what that means to him in his own mind. I hope the family can feel some sort of closure because I believe, the decision I made, was the 100% right one in my heart. Just wanted to put in my 2 cents...
