Wrong again. Union activity is directly related to how fairly labor is treated by employer.

Labor has the right to bargain with its labor.

"they can quit" is just one option available to organized labor when they all decide to walk out. Collective bargaining that keeps workers on the job is a better option.

You know as a senior I am literally amazed that other seniors went through the huge number of changes in our world and our society and remain ignorant, uneducated and hostile to the entire world post 1950's. We are not going back in time no matter what people like Heat want. There will never be a time again in this country when a man can beat his wife and kids, get drunk every night, go to church on Sunday and be the ruler of his tiny world. It's over. We will elect minorities, we will elect women, we will continue the struggle of mankind to survive the ultra powerful/wealthy and the 1950's for white trash like Packing Heat and Reporter and Adsf are gone.

We seniors have lived through the age of women's liberation, the civil rights movement, a country sick of war, the technology and literally more history of the world and this country jammed into 50-60 years than any other segment of American society. Nothing, not even World War II compares to the amount of change that has occurred during our lifetimes. The barn door is closed. The stable is empty.

In reality whether you approve of some changes or disapprove of some, we seniors are basically waiting to die in terms of society. Despite all the "causes", despite all the poltical bents, the bottom line is what it has been since recorded time. Those with the money rule and everyone else either contributes to those with the money or you're of no value to them. Today we don't have screaming hordes of Huns conquering the know world. We have men in suits doing it all with technology. They announce they lost 12 billion in a single transaction and we pay for it. They announce they are broke, we pay for it. It's all paper nonsense but we pay for it with real cash.

Idiots like heat think the little people are the problem because they take too much. All the little people in the entire world don't take in a year what JP Morgan takes in a day. Nothing will change until the time comes when idiots like Heat die off. I will die as soon as he does likely but my loss to society will not be as large as his loss to societies gain. Because there are more seniors like him than like me. He is the foot soldier for the rich. You can liken him to the stupid jerk with a torch and a pitchfork in the old west yelling get a rope concerning an innocent man. Heat believes that by killing unions and opportunity that the rich will somehow be fair. They never have in recorded history but he thinks by sucking up somehow he preserves a way of life. He doesn't understand that the way of life he wants to preserve is already gone. But he's so hateful he wants to take other seniors money that the government has spent rather than force the govt to repay what they have stolen. It's just a self defeating premise to even read what Heat has to say. He is the stereotype of an uneducated cracker. He doesn't own a Yacht. He doesn't have anything. And that's why he as he is. He's bitter. He's hurt that society passed him by and now he doesn't want any other regular person to have anything because he never had anything. The truth is people like Heat are jealous of the middle class. Just like a street gangster, just like a religious nutcase. He worships the rich but they are just as much a deity to him as thumpers believe in something that never does anything for them. I love money and what it can do for you. But I know better than to believe the rich are going to do a single thing for humanity. There is our difference. I'm rational, he is not. LOL!! The dems haven't even PUT FORTH a budget Dusty. How can the GOP go against something that is not there??? However, the GOP HAS put forth several budgets and the dem controlled senate rejected it with their senate majority control tactics. They refuse to participate.

When you thought it was the GOP blocking Dem budgets, it was bc the GOP just wasn't participating but when I tell you the Dems haven't even OFFERED UP a budget in over 3 years and that they block the GOP's budgets, then it's because they just won't accept anything from the GOP and it's still the GOP's fault, but still no excuse of why the Dems haven't offered up a budget.
