Looking for people who worked at the Philips site when it closed. What were the warning signs? My friend works at the Philips plant in Bath and says they are not doing well. Lay offs & furloughs. They are securing all the exterior doors to make sure they lock and have steel gates on some. The facility is fenced in! They says it doesn't meet the new homeland security requirements. She said they got a new plant manager a short time ago who had no previous ties with Philips. All other plant managers in the past had several years with Philips. Also they are spending a lot on buildings and grounds and not much on equipment. Just put in a new sub-station. Didn't the Seneca Falls plant get a new sub-station just before it closed? I'd like to here some feedback on this issue. Thanks!
