MAn was not grinning he was grimicing in pain because the ankle bracelets were cutting his skin. He never meant to kill anyone he just wanted to be left alone. The cops never should have kicked in the door and after the young deputy was killed the other one never should have RUN AWAY like a coward. But that is what Oklahomans are, are cowards. He could have hit the ground and shot the suspect but instead he died being a coward for the good of teh community I am glad he didn't protect and serve my community.

I doubt the ankle bracelets were cutting his skin, he looked like he had been beat about the face, and hopefully tasered. He is a menace to society, and you don't know what you would do if you were in that situation anyway. Let the dead rest in peace, asshole.

I live in Seminole and live 9 blocks from where it happened. You are a baffoon and a sick person, "Friend of suspect". His own mom had a protective order against him and he was in her home illegally hopped up on dope. Some angel this human fecal matter is(you are one as well friendofsuspect) He tried to strangle and assault his own mother. Those 2 police officers DID NOT deserve to die PERIOD. BUT if these officers were TRAINED properly like the large city police are they'd have known threatning to kick in the door and then kicking in the door tactics should be left back in the Old West where it belongs. The way they conducted thmselves are almost as much to blame for their own deaths as the waste of human space that shot them. There is such a thing as waiting for back-up, using the cars as shields and broadcasting your demands over a bullhorn loudspeaker in SAFETY.

Ok for one. They did not know he had guns in the house! His mother didn't inform the dispatcher that he had any type of weapon. At the time the call came in, it was a verbal disturbance and warrant service. No need to ask about weapons until they found out what the warrant was for. I worked with these guys. I looked up to Marvin and grew up with chase. I was a dispatcher ON duty that day having to listen to the radio and hear the fact that my friends, brothers and co workers were just murdered in cold blood. He deserves to rot and die. I'm glad they don't house him at Seminole co jail. And for the friend of the suspect. My deputies did not deserve to die. Marvin had children and grandchildren and was a man of God. And chase was raising his two brothers. These guys worked very hard and until you work closely with law enforcement everyday like I do. You'll never understand the brotherhood we have or the pain we went thru. I think about them everyday of my life. Hearing the voices come over the radio telling us that chase was shot and not moving. Until you are on either the police side or dispatcher side of the radio, you have no room to talk that these guys weren't trained. They had back-up on scene with them. They weren't cowards, they died saving possibly your dumbass. I hope your friend lives a miserable life in prison. I will definitely be there when they give him his final breath. And if they are such cowards then why were they out there everyday away from their families protecting your stupid ass? If you think you can do a better job then step up and try. I hate when people say they can do better. If so then fucking do it. They had some of the best training you can get in this state. They had the balls to tough out 11 or 14 wks of some of the toughest things they ever had to go thru. One day you will need the help of law enforcement and I hope it's here in Seminole. It would make my day to deal with you face to face. So next time you say they pretty much deserved to die, remember there is someone out there thinking the same thing about you and your friend that's a cold blooded killer!

I was a dispatcher at wewoka pd when it happened. Me and my sister both worked there. Chase and marvin were there ALL the time. Especially Chase. My sister, her husband and myself were in the court room the day he was arraigned. He smiled and laughed as the judge read the charges it was the most sickening experience I've had. My brother in law was actually interviewed and on the news describing what we saw that day in the courthouse. He deserves death. He is a waste. There was no remorse or sympathy in him at all. He brought the tri cities to our knees that day and its still hard for us. He is a lost cause that needs to be eliminated.
