I feel whoever gave you that information is a very unhappy and misleading person... I do know that those to guys are good cops and did look after each other for 30 years or so.. And his assistant has alot of respect for Charlie..as Charlie has for him.. grow up

The training for most of the officers on the force were givin to them before they joined the Seminole Police Department. I know of only three police officers that were put through the academy by SPD. As far as the use of courts the SPD should be using the federal court system anyway being that the Seminole Tribe is located on a Federal Reservation. This would mean that most crimes would become federal crime when convicted they would serve at least 80% of their time in prison. Or the Seminole tribe could have their own court system as well as jails. All they would need is for one of the tribal members who are lawyers to become the judges.

First, there was no cover up in the Anna Nicole Smith death. Seminole Police does not even have a crime scene unit to collect evidence, BSO does it for Hollywood. The Medical Examiner rules on the cause and manner of death and the State Attorneys office reviews it all.

Second, Charlie Tiger is the most honest person with the highest integrity. He has helped build the Seminole Police Department by hiring qualified officers and command staff which has begun to make real differences in serivices and professionism.

Third, the unfortunate shooting of a tribal member by a police officer. All independent investigations have cleared any officers of wrongdoing.
But the family put pressure on the councel and etc. etc.

Forth, The PD has no dealing with and is separate from the Hard Rock and Casino, They only work details there.

Charlie Tiger is an hornable man.

What the heck are you talking about? Hollywood is a city operating under the laws of this state. The Seminole Indian Reservation is a totally unique form of government operated under the Federal Government i.e. Bureau of Indian Affairs. Hollywood had nothing whatsoever do do with the casino.

Wrong. Charlie left Hollywood because he had done his time and pensioned out. Simple as that. He got tired of fishing and decided to go back to work when they came to him.

I can not believe that the way the Seminole Police department operates is not common knowledge within the South Florida community. This department arrests people who work in their businesses or are within their jurisdiction with no proof and many times these people have done nothing wrong. This is a common "pay back" because they can get away with this. These innocent people have no way of retaliating through the courts becasue the Indians can not be touched. This is common knowledge with state and federal law enforcement officers along with others in government. Check the Broward County court system, all of the proof is there. I am involved in that area. This Tiger probably had too much intergrity to hold the job any longer.

With all the corruption and crime occurring on Seminole property, & Federal investigations, you don't need to be associated with any of that.

Doing the right thing is most often the hardest thing to do. When it concerns standing up for what you believe in, then you are the better person. Especially if you have to do so to your own people & family.

I for a fact know a Seminole that got caught in a raid in one of the Hard Rock hotel rooms. The non Indian people were immediatley arrested. This Seminole had an ounce of cocaine but was let free because he was Seminole and the police are hired to watch out for Seminoles. This Tiger probably could not stomach this type of policy.

Charlie Tiger is as honest and sincere as the day is long. He has always been a good police officer and hard worker. He will stand up for what he believes and will back his employees if he has evidence to prove they were correct and had acted properly. I wish him the best in whatever path he chooses from here.
